Bequest Language

Sample Bequest Language for unrestricted bequests:

"I, [name], of [city, state, ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to Nebraska Methodist Hospital Foundation, a not-for profit corporation with principal offices in Omaha, Nebraska [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for the benefit of its unrestricted use and purpose.

Or you may designate your bequest to support any of Nebraska Methodist Hospital Foundation's existing programs, scholarships, endowments, capital projects or special initiatives by using the following sample language:

"I, [name], of [city, state, ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to Nebraska Methodist Hospital Foundation, a not-for profit corporation with principal offices in Omaha, Nebraska [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for the purpose of supporting: [name of fund, program, capital project or initiative].

If you wish to establish a new or named endowment fund, please contact us before finalizing your will to discuss necessary wording, minimum giving levels and to ensure that Nebraska Methodist Hospital Foundation can fulfill your wishes.
