Mental health was prioritized as one of the Omaha metro’s top health needs in the 2021 Community Health Needs Assessment. Rates of anxiety and depression are on the rise. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that as many as one in five children nationally experience a mental disorder in a given year.
